Why, Hello!
As the founder of Birth Story Processing Libby Mukhi, PMH-C has worked as a postpartum doula and coach with countless families and innately understands the lasting impact that birth trauma can have on a person. Five years after her own traumatic birth, Libby experienced the profound healing that can come along with a Birth Story Medicine session. She knew that she wanted to share this healing experience with others, and promptly completed the 14-week Birth Story Medicine program, under the tutelage of Danit Tsur Almog.
While not a therapist, she is passionate about mental health, and recently earned a certification in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International. Libby also sits on the board of Baby Blues Connection; a nonprofit that supports families coping with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
After spending years living in Portland, OR with her partner and two daughters, Libby and her family relocated to Melbourne, Australia. She has had the unique privilege of giving birth in both countries, providing an intimate understanding of how both cultures operate as it relates to birth.
When she’s not supporting other families during their own voyages into parenthood, you can find her cooking, hiking, and soaking up all of the sweet pleasures that life has to offer.
